Simple Granola

Based on Linnea’s recipe


  • 4 c rolled oats
  • 1.5 c dried coconut
  • 0.5 c wheat germ
  • 0.5 c flax seed
  • 0.5 c sunflower seeds
  • 0.5 c chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 c oil (vegetable or canola, but not strong ones like olive oil)
  • 0.5 c honey
  • 1-2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c dried cranberries or raisins (Don’t mix with dry ingredients until wet ones are added


  1. Preheat oven to 300F
  2. Mix dry and wet ingredients separately, then combine.
  3. Pour into two cookie sheets, spread it thin.
  4. Bake in two cookie at 300 F for about 25-30 minutes or until it starts turning a
    little brown.
  5. Add dried cranberries
