Schokobusserl (Chocolate Kisses)

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 150g powder sugar
  • 300g ground hazelnuts
  • 100g bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • grease for the sheet
  • 100g whole hazelnuts


  1. beat the yolks and powder sugar till foamy
  2. fold in the hazelnuts and chocolate
  3. let the dough sit for 30 min
  4. preheat oven to 200 C (395 F)
  5. form a ball with two teaspoon heaps of dough and press a hazelnut on it
  6. bake in a greased sheet for about 20 min
  7. when reusing the baking sheet, only need about 15 min
