Based on this blog entry from Detoxinista.
- 3 cups almonds
- about 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F
- Toast almonds in one layer for 12-15 min. Let cool completely.
- Process in food processor with metallic blade for about 20-30 min, until it is in a pourable state. Scrape the sides occasionally. It will start clump up into a ball half way through. Then it will release into liquid form.
- Add coconut oil and process for another 3 min.
- Store in a jar with airtight lid.
